Oh my goodness, Krista and Seth's wedding at Mt. Nebo in central Arkansas was GORGEOUS!!!  First of all...what a beautiful couple - LOVE them. :)  Krista and Seth had such fun personalities - their wedding was complete with neon sunglasses and dancing and funny hats in the photobooth.  To top it all off, the wedding was on top of a mountain with probably the most amazing views I have ever seen in all of Arkansas.  Wow.  Really - WOW.  You'll notice the first few portraits are of the "first look" - love it when the Bride and Groom decide to see each other before the wedding and they get that intimate moment to take it all in.  Also...totally adored the three generation of hands...bride, mother, and grandmother!

So, if you love Fall and pumpkins and bright leaves and twinkling lights...be prepared to fall in love with this wedding. :)

Just when you thought life couldn't get any busier...it does. :)  My beautiful Mother has been in the hospital recovering from a recent surgery to remove a new cancerous tumor.  It's times like these that I feel the pressure of work and balancing time with family - and then suddenly it disappears.  Sitting in the hospital, with my best friend, watching the clock tick and time go by - I remember what is important.  That time just hanging out with my mom is priceless, the time I sit on my couch with my kiddos laughing about nothing is priceless, every time my Love walks through the door and hugs me and tells me he loves me is priceless.  That is the substance of my life.  That is what I value.  God has been immeasurably good to me.  My God is love and he has shed his love on me.  I don't blame him for my problems, I give my problems to him.  My heart rests in him.  My soul lets go of pain and stress and weight in light of his love.  A lot of people comment on how happy I am, how positive I am.  I just want to say that despite the wonderful things that I have, I'm this way because of what I know.  I know beyond doubt that I am loved, that I am forgiven, that I am saved, and that I am never alone.  What I know makes me love my life, and if I can share that with you, I want to. :)

Eric and Anastasiya, who currently reside in Delaware, stopped in Fayetteville on their last trip to Arkansas just long enough for us to do an engagement session with them!  Most couples we shoot engagements for also end up being wedding clients, but this gorgeous couple will be tying the knot in Italy!  (Lucky!!!)  We had such a fun time shooting their session, hope to have the chance to do another one with them in the future. :)  Enjoy!!

Here's another one of our mini family sessions!  We have been doing more and more of these sessions as the years go by.  Our brides become mothers and they want a photographer they can trust to capture their new family life!  In Nate and Jessica's case, we didn't shoot their wedding - but we did shoot one for close friends of theirs. :)  I love that we've been able to shoot them as a couple with a dog, a couple expecting a child, a couple with a newborn, a couple with a precious bubbly baby, and now a couple with an adorable little toddler.  How completely wonderful!!

We have never advertised as family portrait photographers in the past because we are SO busy with weddings and the labor intensive process of retouching those portraits and designing books and products, etc. for our wedding clients. However, we've been training a new photographer (shout out to Nicona Jones!!) and she is going to be working with us to provide family and children's portrait sessions starting next month!  So exciting!!!  Be on the lookout for a new website devoted just to the families and kiddos! ;)

Thought it would be nice to show you guys some of the smaller sessions we do in between all of the weddings!  We actually shot John and Allison's wedding, so we were excited when they said they were making a trip to our area and wanted us to shoot a family session for them. :)  I can't even tell you how blessed we feel to have such wonderful clients.  Love them!!!
