Tim and Rachel's Wedding - Fort Smith, AR

By trinityridge in uncategorized

I know it's been an eternity since I blogged, but Dad and I have been SUPER busy!  That's a good thing, of course! :)  Anyways, I thought I would post a few portraits from our last wedding.  Rachel and Tim were married at the Central Presbyterian Church in Fort Smith, AR and had their reception in the ballroom at The Varsity Sports Grill.

Nathan and Tiffanie's Wedding - Rogers, AR

By trinityridge in uncategorized

Nathan and Tiffanie's Wedding was held at the Church at Pinnacle Hills in Rogers, AR.  It was so beautiful!  I can't tell you how much I adored Nathan and Tiffanie both.  They were so fun to shoot and we all spent the day laughing and having a great time.  Too bad they can't get married every year!  Anyways, here are a few preview portraits from their wedding.  Can't wait to post more!

The River

By trinityridge in uncategorized

I have a tattoo of a dragonfly above my ankle.  I was always terrified of getting a tattoo, but one day mom and I decided to go get one together.  Looking around trying to figure out what I would be able to look at every day for the rest of my life and smile - I saw the dragonfly.  The dragonfly gives me a very specific image in my mind, more like a movie running, actually.  I see myself floating down the river when I was a kid and it was the absolute most wonderful place in the world.  My parents used to take me floating on air mattresses (of course, when I was little - I was in a floatie that looked like a turtle).  Those were my happiest memories, always laughing, out away from the rest of the world.  To me, it looked like a jungle we were floating through.  I like remembering how the world looked when I was small and it seemed SO big.  As an adult, I've wondered if I would ever make it back there with my parents on a bunch of air mattresses just having fun.  After going through major surgery and then chemotherapy, I wasn't sure if my Mom would ever make it back down to the river with me.  I knew she was going to live a long happy life, but I just didn't know if she would get back to the river.  Yesterday, she did.  And I think I was twice as happy this time as I was when I was a kid.  My family is SO valuable to me.  The memories I have of growing up in the coolest, quirkiest, most fun family in the world - are priceless.  Reliving those memories with my husband and kids makes me think that life is this amazing regenerating thing that demands that I open my eyes each morning with an exceptional unwavering hope.  So...that is what I do. :)

10 days since our last blog?? WHAT???

By trinityridge in uncategorized

Ok, so it's true.  Time DOES go faster the older you get.  (I'm not saying I'm old, but seriously, 10 days felt like a month in kindergarten. ;)  Anyways, we have been SO busy lately!  We've had 4 weddings in the last month and they have ALL been completely wonderful.  I have to thank God every day for blessing me with such awesome clients!  On top of the weddings, we've had some great maternity and baby portrait sessions.  We even had a super fun bridal shoot down in Fort Smith, AR!  (Which reminds me, I found this totally cool carousel down there and I'm dying to shoot part of a bridal session on it!!  So email me if you might want that to be part of your bridal session!)  Aside from all of the sessions we've done, we have had requests streaming in every day for weddings from this July to next May!  If you're thinking of booking us for your wedding, please call us and check our availability.  If you've fallen in love with our work, we want you to be able to book us for your special day. :)

I know that you want to see some new portraits, so the next wedding in line is Doug and Mary.  They were married at The Thorncrown Chapel in Eureka Springs, AR and their receptions was at The Crescent Hotel.

Josh and Rachel's wedding in Cotter, Arkansas

By trinityridge in uncategorized

Josh and Rachel's wedding was May 1st at the beautiful Hopkinswoode Bed & Breakfast in Cotter, AR.  It was supposed to storm all day - but miraculously it cleared up not long after we started shooting.  It was SO beautiful there, I was totally ready to move in!  And the older part of Cotter - looks like a little beach town.  It's so cute.  Dad and I always get to wedding locations ridiculously early - so this time we drove down the river and took some pics.  Then, of course, we took off looking for a gas station where we could get our fuel for the day - Mt. Dew, of course. ;)  Anyways, Josh and Rachel were super cool and the wedding and reception went great.  We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful day! Here are just a few portraits from their special day with more to come later.
