Maternity shoot in Rogers, Arkansas!

By trinityridge in uncategorized

Although we have always considered ourselves wedding photographers, we have really been blessed with requests to do all different types of portraits lately.  We love weddings, but we have to admit that these portraits sessions have been so much fun!!!

The beautiful woman in these portraits is a good friend of mine whom I've been blessed to photograph over the last few years as her family has grown. :)  She is about to have a precious little girl and I can't wait to take her portraits once she gets here!  Until then...here a few from her maternity portrait session for you to enjoy. :)

We LOVE babies!!!

Sorry I have neglected the blog lately!  Ooops!!  We have been quite busy the past few weeks.  In between editing weddings, we have had a baby portrait session and a maternity session.  We also completely remodeled our website!  Make sure you check it out at www.trinityridge.com!!

Here are a few portraits from the baby session we did.  Oh my goodness, this is such an adorable little boy!  We have had the honor of shooting his parents' wedding, then his newborn portraits and now his 6 month portraits.  It has been so amazing to be a part of his life and capture it through our portraits. :)

If you are interested in having us do a baby portrait session for your family, please feel free to call us at 479-225-5104 or email us at photography@trinityridge.com.

War Eagle Cemetery - and a good day to be thankful :)

By trinityridge in uncategorized

So, yesterday, Dad and I had a day of hiking, exploring, and picture taking planned.  We used to go shoot for fun practically every weekend.  It seems like it was just yesterday.  In reality, it was a DECADE ago.  I can hardly believe it.  Back then, I was stuck in various office jobs - totally miserable, and weekend photography with Dad was my way out.  Dad and I went through hundreds of rolls of film back then, and we almost always had it developed one hour because we were just so impatient once we got back to civilization.  LOL  Thank God digital came along to save us from waiting!!!!  Anyways, we planned to go hiking yesterday but it didn't exactly work.  My youngest princess hasn't been feeling so hot - so she was home from school.  BUT...I thought the fresh air might do her some good, so we went for a drive.  Eventually, we ended up at the War Eagle Cemetery.  It was a gorgeous old cemetery that overlooked the river.  After walking around and looking at all of the old headstones we realized that most of them were infants or children/teens.  I read the following engraving on one belonging to a 15 year old girl which read "She was the sunshine of our home".  Glancing over at my amazingly beautiful little angel, I thought to myself "I am so blessed".  I can appreciate living in a generation where I don't have to worry that she had a fever the evening before.  I had already taken her to the doctor, started her medication, and she was feeling better.  (Of course, I ultimately trust God with her well-being.)  I am still so thankful for modern medicine and my beautifully sheltered and protected life.  I wish that all of my children had been with me that day so I could post their images on here as well - but it was just her.  Hope you enjoy them!

Happy Birthday Dad! (Trinity Ridge Photography's better half...)

By trinityridge in personal

If you know anything about Trinity Ridge Photography - you know that it consists of TWO photographers.  There is me, the "mouth" and my Dad - the "eye". :)  Don't worry - my mouth's not TOO big, but he DOES have a great eye!  Of course, he takes the most gorgeous wedding images you can imagine.  Less known is the fact that he is a master at nature photography.  I think of him as the King of Flowers.

So, today is my Dad's birthday.  I thought it would be fitting to devote a post to him and how lucky I am to have him.  Honestly, I could write a whole book on this topic, so it will be a struggle to keep it short. ;)  What I really want to say is that throughout my entire life he has been a constant support to me.  He has never failed me or failed to be there for me when I needed him.  If I called him at this very moment and said I needed him - even if it wasn't an emergency - he would come.  AND he would show up smiling.  He is and has the kind of strength that the rest of the world seems to be missing.  It's the kind that you see children searching for.  Many of my BEST memories are of me and my Dad.  Every year we get to work together, we make new memories and I feel blessed.  He is beyond good to me, and always fun to be around.  So, I think that I have a great reason to celebrate his birthday.  God blessed me and the rest of the world with a truly wonderful person when my Dad was born.  For that, today I am so thankful. :)

I love you Daddy!  Happy Birthday!
